Hello! My name is René and I'm a photographer in the Dayton area.
My passion is to document people's lives; capture the big moments and small milestones. I've considered myself a photographer since elementary school, always snapping pictures of my school, family, and friends, but I've been doing it professionally since graduating from The University of Pittsburgh in 2001. My favorite part about being a photographer is feeling included in my subjects' lives for that hour or day, from seeing their pride and exhaustion during a newborn photo shoot to the nerves and excitement of their wedding day.
By the end of every photo shoot, I feel a connection to the people I'm photographing.
I'm primarily a natural light photographer, but I use studio lights when necessary. On this site you can find samples of my work; mostly weddings, couples, families, babies, and seniors in high school. I also photograph boudoir, childbirth, business portraits, memory mates, events, parties, and locations. I also retouch and photoshop images and design sports or collage posters, holiday cards and birth announcements.
